Job Description:

Total student population : 800 (5 branch offices in two cities)
Students age : 4- 10 years old
Average class size : 10 -12
Textbooks & teaching materials are provided by the school
Teaching Hours : 25/week
Office hours : 40/week;the teaching hours are included in the 40 office hours work week.
Working time : 8 AM - 18:00 with lunch breaks and other breaks in between classes.
Holidays/one year contract : 10 working days plus all national and public holidays

We are looking for a conversation teacher who can create an English environment and stimulate the students' interest to study English.

Salary and benefits package:
Base salary: TWD 50,000/month
Housing Subsidy:TWD 5,000/month
Attendance bonus: TWD 30,000
Airfare bonus: TWD25,000
All the bonuses are paid upon completion of the contract

The idea of "distributions" doesn't appeal very much to me, at least if I am not sure that after installing that distribution I still have a standard Drupal installation with which i can do whatever I like. This is why I have never considered Open Publish or Tattler, at least not for flexible projects that need customization. I know Im not the only one who has to teach without a textbook. Many new english teachers find themseves having to spend endless hours on the internet searching for resources. I think theres a lot sites that have advice but few with ready made teaching aids. If there are Im really not looking hard enough.
